As a student, you have immeasurable power to make a difference in the future of education. The Texas Legislature is convening in Austin between in early 2021 to make decisions that affect your schooling. But they rarely get to hear from students and get your perspective. They need to know what students faced throughout the pandemic and your vision for your future.

At this virtual summit, you and other students will hear the results of a student-led survey about their experiences with school during the pandemic, discuss major policy issues the legislature is considering and issues you think they should consider, and plan next steps for elevating student voices at the capitol.

IDRA facilitated this work, but the plans and actions were student-driven.
